Techin5′s Mother’s Day Competition Winner Announced – Was it you?

Techin5′s Mother’s Day Competition Winner Announced – Was it you?

We want to start of first by saying thank you for all your entries in our Mother’s Day Competition to win a Magenta Lumia 800 for your mum! It was a tough decision towards the end (much tougher than I anticipated with all the great entries), but in the end there could only be one winner that the Techin5 finally decided upon (if we could we would give you all Lumia 800’s).

Just to quickly tell you, the entries were all read anonymously by being compiled into a word document without any names and the top 10 were chosen. It was then narrowed down to the top 3, where from there the winning entry was chosen and finally, we linked it back to who had written it. Again, it was an amazing turn out of answers and we really felt the love you guys had for your moms.

We’d of course like to thank our official Lumia 800 sponsors, Nokia Australia, for making this contest a reality and we hope to bring you many more Give away’s and Competitions in the future! Special thanks to Cassie for helping us organize it as well.

And without further a due, the Winner of the Competition is – Joseph C. ! Congratulations Joseph, and we’ve sent an email to you regarding your win! Don’t forget to send us a picture with you and your mum holding the wining device as well (once all the details have been sorted out).

Update: and here’s Joseph’s mum with her brand new Nokia Lumia 800! Congrats again :)

Special Mention to Graham J. for this amusing photo which got you a close second place!

Thanks again for all your entries, we really enjoyed reading them and we hope you all head into a store and pick your mum up a Magenta Lumia 800 anyways!
