Nokia Lumia 900 launching April 8th on AT&T for $99
One of the most highly anticipated Windows Phone of, well ever, has finally got a pricing AND a launch date. We’re referring of course to the Nokia Lumia 900, the giant 4.3-inch Windows Phone touting phone which is coming directly to US Carrier AT&T on the 8th of April, a mere 2 weeks away. And it’s coming for an astoundingly low price of just $99 (on a 2 year contract), a price even made more stunning considering that this phone is being considered a ‘Hero’ phone at AT&T (and it’s a price budget phones go for as well!). It’s clear that Nokia is aiming to make a large splash in the American Markets with their first proper re-entry with the Lumia range, especially when you compare phones such as the cheapest iPhone 4S costs $199, practically double the Lumia 900.
It’s an extremely agressive price which proves that Nokia and Microsoft are serious about pushing this phone, at the expense of making of large loss per phone sold just so they can make everyone aware about Windows Phone. And it just might work at that price. Furthermore, it’s also a 4G LTE powered device meaning it’ll be one of the fastest phones in the market in the data department.
Starting April 8th, the Lumia 9 will be available in Black Matte and Cyan Blue, with the much anticipated glossy white to follow on the 22nd April. Well played Nokia.
