Nokia Lumia 900 to go global as expected, International World Cheers

Between Power packing phones and monster camera phones announcements at MWC 2012, the Lumia 900 announcement to go global might seem small but it’s still an important one as far as Nokia is concerned! Yes, just like rumors and leaks predicted, the Lumia 900 will officially be available outside the United States starting April.
Unlike those pesky rumors, the global version will remain the Lumia 900 (not Lumia 910 as we had thought) and it will feature dhcpa instead of the hspa+/LTE bands that AT&T currently use. Furthermore, it is rumoured the European version of the phone will cost around 480 Euro’s (AUD $600) which would make it 60 Euro’s more expensive than the smaller Lumia 800, which we feel is fair. This is great news for those of us who have been waiting to hear news about a international release for the Lumia 900.
As far as things go, apart from the April date (which is when Canada will receive their Lumia 900), no European dates were given so we’ll obviously bring you that when we get word. As for the Australian model, we hope it’s out soon and with LTE onboard as well so it would work well with Telstra’s 4G LTE network!
