Nokia Lumia 610 unveiled, low end Windows Phone
Nokia has a very busy MWC Conference, and one of the thing’s that came out of it was the small Lumia 610, designed to be the cheapest Nokia Phone (and Windows Phone for that matter) on the market when launched. The fourth phone announced by Nokia might be small, but by in no means will Nokia be skimping on the quality of the phone as it is expected to have all the bells and whistles such as Gorilla Glass Screen, metallic body, and it will also come in four different colours.
The Lumia 610 specs are as follows:
- Processor – 800 MHz
- RAM – 256 MHz
- Camera – 5 megapixel rear facing camera
- Screen – 3.2-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen (LCD)
- Weight – 131.5 grams
This would not only make it the smallest Windows Phone on the market, but it would also have the lowest specs – pushing it all the way to the bare minimum specs allowed. Similarly, due to it’s low end specs (even though it’s still higher than a lot of Android devices), it will be estimated that pricing will be 189 Euros (AUD $235) which is extremely cheap and will be great for developing markets (or those who want a cheap Windows Phone). The phone is expected to come with Windows Phone 7.5, and no have any missing features. Expect this to be out around Q2 2012.
