Blackberry London pictures leak online

If you think BlackBerry’s have an ugly design and look ugly, think again. The upcoming Blackberry London, due to release this fall, has gotten its first pics leaked online. It has a fresh (Android-like?) body design and is unlike any Blackberry released before, which is obviously a good think for the struggling Phone Maker.

As seen from the pic above (courtesy Crackberry.com), it has a sleek, black body with the Blackberry logo at the bottom completing the elegant look. It will feature the new Blackberry10 OS, and is also rumoured to have a 1.5 GHz dual core processor (fairly powerful for a BlackBerry). There are no visible buttons (sort of like how the Nokia N9 was built) on the front, and the rear camera sports a single LED flash. It is definitely the most beautiful BB phone, as far as looks are concerned. What we didn’t like about the design though, is the large amount of wasted space at the top and bottom of the phone (it’s almost as if BlackBerry weren’t sure which side would be top, and which side would be bottom).

We are pretty sure our Blackberry friends cannot wait to have this phone in their hands, and it’s  quite understandable. It was quite disappointing to know that Blackberry10 won’t be released until fall 2012, however this leaked image should lift up their sagging spirits. And with a string of not-so-attractive releases from Blackberry of late, this design is most definitely a breath of fresh air.

Impressed? Would you leave your current smartphone in favour of a Blackberry10 phone? Let us know in the comments below!
