Sony reveal’s new PS Vita bundle’s for those in the USA

Sony’s PS Vita sales in Japan have been less than stellar, despite a strong first week showing. The rather high price of the console (not to mention the add on costs for games and accessories) has caused Sony to rethink it’s position regarding the pricing scheme they’ve set. However, rather than lowering the cost of the console (which we do wish they would do still), they’ve decided to actually add on a few bonus gifts (valued at over $55 according to Sony).

So far as we know, this deal only extends to those in the United States and there is no word on this deal making it’s way internationally. Either way, those of you who have already pre-ordered the PS Vita will get a few extra goodies with your 3G version: You’ll get 250mb free from AT&T and a Playstation Network game as soon as you activate the PS Vita. Those of you planning to buy this on launch day will also be treated to the same deal as the pre-orders, but you’ll also be rewarded with a 8GB memory stick (worth is since memory stick’s for the PS Vita are going to be rather expensive).

So does this sweeten the deal enough to make you want it? Or do you still feel Sony can do more to sweeten the pot? Let us know in the comments!
