Razer goes Cloud with Synapse 2.0
We just got word that Razer Synapse 2.0 is about to be unleashed upon the world, and very soon at that. Yes, that Razer company that makes those amazing gaming mice and other gaming peripherals, is venturing into the cloud once again, with Synapse 2.0.
So what is Synapse 2.0 exactly? And why would a hardware maker be getting into the cloud based storage system? Well Razer claims that it will be the world’s first cloud-based storage for personalized gaming settings. Interesting, but what does that all mean? Well, with Razer Synapse 2.0, all of your peripherals settings for any ‘next generation’ Razer gaming device will be automatically stored in a cloud server which is accessible from any computer, anytime, anywhere.
Essentially, no matter which computer you go to with your Razer gaming devices and peripherals, you’ll always have the same settings stored and ready to go on Synapse 2.0 as you please. Now we know this is something true gamer’s will really appreciate since we all know how annoying it is to keep setting up our favourite setting’s every time we shift to a new computer. Now for now, detail’s are very scarce as the link we were given is also very basic so we aren’t able to provide any more details than that. However, feel free to head on down to the source link to get a snippet of what the service does and thank Razer for a very useful service.
