Motorola Defy+ First Look and Impressions

Motorola Defy+ First Look and Impressions

We’ve recently got our hands on the Android Gingerbread running Motorola Defy+ (the newest Motorola phone to enter Australia), thanks to Clove UK. We’ve had the phones for just over a week now, and we’ve had some good hands on experience so we’ve put together a little video with our Hands on experience as well as first impressions of the phone. Have a look at the video below.

Guide: (all links open on a new page)

  • Hardware Look – 0:00
  • Phone Specs      – 1:10
  • Android 2.3       – 2:11
  • Startup Speed   – 3:38
  • Android Comp  – 4:57
  • Final Words      – 6:27

So our first impression is that it’s light, it feels like the material’s used are cheap, but the seem to do a better job at being weather resistant than our other phones, we so could be mistaken. It’s very light (118 grams vs 140 grams for the iPhone 4S), and it actually feels very comfortable in our hands, despite the fact it’s thick (13.1 mm). The screen being only 3.7-inches helps make it look nicer (higher quality) since it’s resolution is 480 x 854 WVGA, although it’s just a standard LCD screen. Watch the full video for our thoughts, and don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube Channel!

We love how the phone is water resistant, but stay tuned for our upcoming Review this week, only on Techin5.
