Samsung Focus S and Focus Flash pictures revealed

Microsoft has gone ahead and, ‘leaked’ shots of Samsung’s new Windows Phone devices which are expected to be released this year. We say leaked because it’s not technically a Samsung Announcement (probably because they were too busy announcing the Galaxy Nexus), but rather Microsoft showing of these gorgeous looking devices on their Windows Steam Blog. Either way, it’s great to finally see what the much anticipated Samsung Windows Phone Gen 2 devices are going to look like, especially since AT&T revealed their specs a bit back (it’s like Samsung doesn’t get to make any announcements).

In the picture above you’ve got 3 future AT&T devices – The HTC Titan, Samsung Focus S, and Focus Flash. We’ve obviously covered the Titan before, but now we can finally bring you pictures of Samsung’s lineup:

Samsung Focus S

The Samsung Focus S will be Samsung’s Flagship Windows Phone Device (and it has an uncanny resemblance to the Samsung Galaxy S 2). A quick rundown of the specs:

  • 1.4GHz Processor (possibly 1.5GHz)
  • 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus Screen
  • 8 megapixel camera with 720p recording (wait what? The Galaxy S 2 has 1080p recording!)
  • 1.3 megapixel front facing camera
Basically it’s just an Android phone turned into a Windows Phone… disappointing really but still a good phone for anyone.

Focus Flash

The Focus Flash is most certainly the Omnia W, which we’ve already written about so there’s not much to say here which we haven’t already said. To see that article, click here.

Not the most exciting devices in the world, but they are certainly good devices for anyone. Over to you Nokia.
