Nokia 800 Windows Phone advert revealed

The first Nokia Windows Phone advertisements were just revealed by Pocketnow, revealing a Nokia 800 device surrounded by colourful tiles (clearly a Windows Phone 7.5 display here). This is the first actual photo released by Nokia of a Windows Phone device that we have seen till date, and some of you may know this particular model as the Nokia Sea Ray (the first Windows Phone picture ever leaked online) and it looks like Nokia will officially be calling it the Nokia 800 (at least in some markets), which is a pity since we were big fans of the Sea Ray name (it was catchy).

The first advert comes with a tagline which says ‘today the sun will rise and set. The rest is up for grabs’ which doesn’t give us much to go on, but it’s an intriguing tagline to say the very least. The colorful tiles certainly do capture your attention before you turn and notice the phone which looks very sexy (even if it still does resemble the Nokia N9 a little too much). The second advert on other hand (picture below) has a simpler message – ‘take, tag, sort and share. All in a flash’ which is obviously referring to the quick start up Camera times on Windows Phones and the social media integration within the Windows Phone platform.

Just to give a quick reminder, based on leaks this is the specs the Nokia 800 is expected to come with:

  • Carl Zeiss Camera Lens with 8MP Auto Focus
  • 3.7″ amoled screen (Clear Black Display CBD)
  • 16GB storage
  • 1.4GHz processor
  • Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango)
  • 1540mAh battery

It’s already looking like a good upper middle device from Nokia, and it not only looks good but knowing Nokia it will also be built well. We’re liking the Nokia advertisements as well, which show off the device in a flashy form, but also leave us wanting more so well played Nokia. Expect this phone to be unveiled at the end of the month at Nokia World 2011, where a possible one or two other devices might also be in attendance. Either way we’ll be reporting anything that comes our way for the most expected Windows Phone devices this year so stay tuned! Otherwise are you looking forward to this device?
