Jil Sanders launches the first Windows Phone Fashion Phone
Fashion Designer Jil Sander’s has unveiled the first Fashion Phone to feature the Windows Phone 7.5 Operating System, and we have to say that despite the fact Jil Sanders has taken an older LG phone (which was released last year) and changed it up a little, it looks nice. Having said that, externally the only differences between the looks of the Jil Sander and the LG E906 (which is actually unreleased, but the specs are from an older LG E900) is the blue strip on the side of the phone, and a Jil Sanders Logo at the top of the screen instead of an LG one.
Either way, the LG Jil Sanders E906 features some medium level specs (Which is not a bad thing for Windows Phones) that we guess should appeal to the crowd the phone is aimed at (ie: Generation 1 Windows Phone), but we do wish Jil Sanders reads out Guide on ‘How to Design the Perfect Fashion Smartphone‘ before she decides to create another Fashion Phone that’s just a rebranded low LG phone. Still, credit for the Jil Sanders sporting Windows Phone 7.5 (mango), and the other specs are:
- 3.8-inch WVGA display
- 5 megapixel camera with AF and LED flash
- 1GHz processor
- DLNA Support
- 16GB Support
Nothing quite fancy to really excited over, but the phone does look nice, and it comes with a Jil Sanders App as well as a Blue Themed Jil Sanders Start Screen and it runs Windows Phone! The Jil Sander LG handset will go on sale in Germany, Austria, Italy, France and the UK from 7 October meaning those of you in those countries should be able to pick one up today!
