Microsoft’s ‘Where’s My Phone Update?’ page gets the Mango flavour
Microsoft’s ‘Where’s My Phone Update?‘ page has finally been updated like we said it would when we learn that Mango would be getting released this week (or next for some). The new section includes a Windows Phone 7.5 release status for all Windows Device Carriers around the world (and those that are unbranded to a carrier as well). Every single carrier in the world that sells Windows Phone has been given the ‘Scheduling’ Status which means that officially you’ll get your Mango update within 10 days maximum.
The countries (and carriers) included in the list are:
- Hutchinson Group
- Vodafone Group
- Deutsche Telekom
- Orange Group
- Open Market phones
And yes, as we ALSO predicted, Spain is the only count still in the ‘Testing’ Phase. Darnit it Spain, we love visiting your country, but you and your carriers are letting the world down!
For those in the USA, all carriers will be in the ‘Scheduling’ phase and we expect most of the American carriers to get it on the 27th sometime (meaning today). We expect that everyone in the world will start getting it on the 27th till early October. We hope it’s earlier rather than later but the good news is that the Mango update we’ve all been yearning for is nearly upon us.
