Twitter hits 200 million Users, gets real big

Just how big is Twitter now? How about 200 million users across the globe (in 5 years) and 200 million tweets sent each day. Then, to make it even bigger, think 350 billion tweets received each days (this includes ReTweets, and those tweets delivered to multiple parties). Those are clearly some staggering numbers, and Twitter has certainly come a LONG way in 5 years, but it’s still some way behind Facebook which just hit 750 million users, but the little company is certainly catching up. It’s great, we’ve become really invested into twitter in the last 6 months, and we’ve seen countless uses for it. There’s not much else to say about it, but ‘wow’. Have a look at the infographic below and get the real numbers.
