Google Search Does Currency Conversion

Google Search Does Currency Conversion

Now while this feature has been available for some time now, we though best to talk about it while we can. In google, you can now find out the exchange rate just by simply typing in 10 USD into AUD, and Google should be able to point you towards the right currency conversion rate.

Of course, the drawback we’ve found is that you do have to know the currency codes which are 3 letters (AUD or USD) but most of the currencies we use are fairly straight forward. It seems to work only on Google.com right now, not any of the other international sites like the Australian Google site, but either way, I use the main site for most of my searches anyways.

So head on over to Google and give it a spin if you’re in a rush to find out currency rates. Quite useful when you’re travelling like myself.
