Spanish Police apparently arrest 3 people from PSN Hacks

For those of you who down own PS3, or know someone that owns a PS3 (seriously?), you might have known that the Playstation Network went down for a month because it was hacked by a group known as Anonymous, who have become famous for that and are well known for marks that resemble the one from the picture up (ala the movie V for Vendetta).

Spanish Police have claimed to have arrested 3 members of the Anonymous group, and it’s not known as of yet if they were the masterminds or that they were pretty high up in the hacking planning, but it is said that they are well placed within the group. Early this morning, Spanish Police wrote on their official Twitter account “Spanish Police dismantle the #Anonymous hacker group in Spain. They attacked #Playstation Store,” and then followed it up with Police arrested 3 #Anonymous leaders in Barcelona, Alicante & Almería. They attacked governments of Egypt, Algeria, Libya, Colombia…”

So all in all it seems like a good start to dismantling that darn group that kept us off our PS3’s for a month! Hopefully Police around the world see this as the start of a great win against hackers.
