Redbox starts renting Video Games for $2

Redbox, the DVD rental company has just launched their video game rental service, for the low price of $2 per day (US only), and the range includes Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii games. Now course, for some games you might need to keep it for a few days to complete it if that’s what your aim is, but we’d recommend this service for trialing games before you pop $60 on it, as song games do take over 10 hours. We don’t recommend sitting for 10 hours playing video games (there is after all, a world outside), but really we’re not you mum. The service already has some new games on offer such as Duke Nukem Forever, Dirt 3, Brink, and plenty more. As of today, the service is live across all 26,000 boxes around the United States, so head on over and check out that mediocre yet fun Duke Nukem game (or reserve it if you prefer, if stock is low) and you can start fragging away.
