Samsung Galaxy S II(2) Pre-ordered 200,000 times in Korea

Samsung Galaxy S II(2) Pre-ordered 200,000 times in Korea

If there was every any more proof needed of a phone’s impending success its this. The Samsung Galaxy S 2, a phone that is increasingly looking like the first phone that people can unanimously agree on, is better than the Famed iPhone 4, was just put up for pre-order in South Korea, and over 200,000 South Koreans rushed out to their local carriers to pre-order one before it started shipping last Friday.

Just to put a comparison on that, the iPhone 4 was only pre-ordered by 110,000 people in Korea when it was launched (althought the comparison is a little unfair as the iPhone 4 only launched on one carrier at the time, and it wasn’t Korea’s biggest one – SK Telecom). Still, you can’t deny the fact that the Samsung Galaxy S2 is proving to be an extremely popular phone already in it’s home country so when it makes its way to the shores of USA, Europe (minus UK who already seem to have theirs), and Australia, expect people to snap these amazing phone’s up right away. Still, we’ll have full sales numbers once Samsung releases them.
